About Us
One night, one message, one boy and one girl. Two lives in two cities over 3 hours apart came together to create the most epic of stories and thus the birth of Eco Eatery Australia. Michael and Brondwyn, two very different people from very different worlds who had one common goal.
Michael, a chef with an incredible working background from local pubs and clubs, to the fine dining experience only some of us could dream of. Across Melbourne VIC through to the Hunter Valley region. A devoted dad to a beautiful daughter with a dream to one day live a life that would enable him to one day open his own business and grow with the freedom to create his own style.
Brondwyn, a registered nurse of over 10 years who has battled with her own health issues all while maintaining a demanding career and raising on her own her very beautiful little girl. Being diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 28, having intolerances to dairy, gluten (later to coeliac) , soy and more. She has made it goal to beat every health issue as naturally as she possibly can and hoped that one day she would meet someone who instead of opposing her quest would join her into her dream of living a more eco friendly and sustainable life.
In August 2019, two worlds became one and two dreams one. Eco Eatery Australia became not just a pie in the sky dream but a reality. Together they set out on a journey to build and create a more healthy and eco sustainable home.
With Brondwyn and her daughter having allergies and unable to consume so many of the common food allergens., Michael took it on himself to eliminate these from his diet and their home is a safe zone (even though he and his daughter do not have the same dietary issues).
Eco Eatery Australia whilst would appear to be simply a catering service it is so much more. Michael and Brondwyn happily put their lives out there on their journey and are always on the search for new products to try and test on their own family before putting them in what they create, or showcasing them on their page. They are passionate about showing and educating how it does not matter what allergy you have, good quality food is something that everyone can enjoy.
We make our products as natural as possible
Here at Eco Eatery Australia we strive to source products as organic, clean and natural as possible.
We are unlike most companies on the market. and have a policy that if we are unable to use it in our household we will not recommend it or market it. We create our very own flour blends, sauces, powders and pastes just to name a few. We also grow our own produce which is natural and no harsh chemicals or pesticides are ever used.
Countless research goes into a companies allergy policies and how they limit cross contamination.
We adapt and recreate recipes as required and countless late nights have gone into getting recipes just right.
